Cat & Dave on the Trans-Siberian Railway

Hello! Welcome to our tumblr. We are leaving Japan on April 9th for a month long journey through Russia via Trans-Siberian railway, and also stopping in Moldova for a week before returning to the USA. Due to the nature of our travel (and internet access) updates will be sporadic.

Today we went to Lake Baikal. We originally expected a pleasantly quiet nature walk; instead we got a rather involved ridge climb, where the majority of the trail was as wide as our feet (additionally uphill). But, as you can tell from the pictures, it was well worth the work.
